This kind of attention to detail and accessibility from a mod maker is really admirable and deserves praise. The inclusion of a patcher and a Readme with all the changes documented, as well as three different gradated mods the user can choose from is very much appreciated. This mod and the additional resources included by the creator are very professionally done and easy to use for folks that arenвЂ™t experienced with messing with roms and game files. This modвЂ™s changes may seem minimal, but they make the experience feel new and exciting every time you encounter an alteration or a bit of dialogue or flavor text restored from localization. I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this game again, and my enjoyment was elevated to new heights thanks to this mod. Huge thanks to Imaynotbehere4long and Balmz for testing this hack! Should you be so inclined, there is also a third mod included that updates certain enemies and items to make their appearance more in-line with later Paper Mario titles. The вЂњextra modвЂќ txt file in the zip details all of the changes, check it out and see if it strikes your fancy. There is a second mod available that adds some fun extras a couple of gags from the Spanish localization are added to the mix, several minor plotholes have been patched up, and much more. The basic, no-frills mod fixes errors and oversights in the gameвЂ™s script, and reverts changes made during the gameвЂ™s localization (cola = alcohol, the whole business with VivianвЂ™s gender, etc.)
